1.) Rick Ross

*RICK ROSS GRUNT* Rozay the undisputed #1 in the game. Turned MMG from a rap stable into the Four Horseman. Absolute juggernaut on with the rhymes and a hook killer. Survived 3 seizures in 24 hours and still gave us Self Made Vol.1  and Rich Forever. And he turned Meek Mill and Wale into household names.

2.) Drake

Hard to dispute Drizzy. Take Care plus features with everyone and destroying countless hooks, Wheel Chair Jimmy did his thing.

3.) Kanye West

Should’ve been #2 in my book but the Top 2 have very viable cases. Yeezy put out My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and topped it off with Watch The Throne and the monstrous tour that followed. Quite the year for the Louis Vuitton Don.

4.) Nicki Minaj

Again, MTV’s list. Surprised to see her ahead of Weezy. Oh and HOV……

5.) Lil Wayne

Wayne killed the hooks and remixes while Carter IV was ehhhh. It’s MTV’s list not mine so whatever.
