NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi is reporting that the Jets have agreed to terms with former Redskins safety LaRon Landry.
So to recap correctly, Laron Landry has agreed to a contract with the NY Jets and the Pats have agreed with offensive lineman Robert Gallery

Schefter is reporting that Landry’s deal with the Jets is a one year, $4 million pact.
I like this move. LaRon Landry was the best safety on the market, and now he gets a chance to prove himself on a low-risk, one year deal. While this doesn’t solve the Jets issue at the free safety position, as Landry has shown throughout his career to be inconsistent in coverage, it is a definite upgrade in run support.
And at the very least, this puts Eric Smith on the unemployment line. Heard Pathmark is hiring homie.
