ESPN – Starting RG Brandon Moore won’t practice this week after undergoing what the team described as a “minor procedure.” Moore is expected to be ready for the season opener, according to a team spokesman.
The Jets didn’t reveal the exact nature of the surgical procedure, noting that league rules don’t require an injury report until Week 1. It was a scheduled procedure, according to the team. Moore is resting, the spokesman said.
If I had to take a guess as to what the “minor” surgery would be I would say appendectomy or a knee clean out. Nothing that will cause him to miss regular season time or be an issue going forward but luckily could be addressed now.
