NEW YORK (WPIX)— Brace for presidential gridlock the President Barack Obama will be in the city looking to raise campaign cash. He’ll be rubbing elbows with rap royalty Tuesday night when attends a fundraiser put on by the first family of hip-hop, Beyonce and Jay-Z at the rap moguls 40/40 Club.
One hundred supporters are expected to pluck down $40,000 a head to attend the bash in Chelsea netting the commander in chief a cool $4 million. In a message to supporters Beyonce wrote she’s “met the president and its an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
“Only spot a few blacks the higher I go…whatsup Will, shoutout to O”. HOV and B making major moves for President Obama. What’s $40K to an Obama supporter can you please remind em?
